'55 Volkswagen Beetle

The second Beetle we shot @ dub-inn.

This is the other beautiful oval beetle we shot at the Dub-in Arnhem 2011.

It's a Volkswagen oval beetle from the year 1955 imported in '05 from Norway.
When the car arrived in Holland she had a full Body-off resto by the owner himself.
He build it up with loads of NOS parts and nice goodies.
Like a:

- VDO 6000 rpm gauge
- Red Tip blinker lever
- Fuel tap extention
- Kamei cruiser pedal
- Empi doorpulls

At the front the car is lowered with a 5" narrowed frontbeam in combination with a 5x130 discbrake setup on dropped spindles.
At the rear the car is lowered 2 splines with 5x130 drum brakes.

Wheels:
Original Porsche Gasburner wheels in 5,5x15 with detailed 3-sprong centercaps.
Tires are Firestones in 135R15 up front and 195x65x15 on the rearaxle.

Interior:
Stereo: Blaupunkt Bremen 6V radio
Steering wheel: Porsche Banjo with Golden Lady Horn button
rearview mirror blind and oval rearwindow blinds

Outside:
- Popout windows
- Robri gravelguards
- Bumper bars and overriders on the front- and rearbumper
- Hooded Albert mirrors
- Hamburg logo on the fronthood

Motor:
- Stock 30 hp case
- Okrasa camshaft
- 2,5kg Lightned flywheel
- Okrasa OT pulley
- Express intake manifolds with original 28Pci carberators
- Self made linkage
- Porshe Fram oilfilter
- 010 ingnition
- The exhaust is a very rare Abarth 4 tip.
